For surfers at Spot 7-11 in the United States, the best conditions typically occur during the transition months of September and October. September stands out with the highest percentage of ground swell (22%)—which usually provides cleaner, more organized waves—while still maintaining a decent swell size of 0.9m. Wind conditions in September are also relatively favorable compared to other months, with a 25% chance of good winds. October follows closely, offering a good balance of ground swell (14%) and manageable wind conditions (21% good winds). The late summer months of May through August see a prevalence of wind swell (77-85%), which often leads to less consistent and choppier surf, despite slightly better wind conditions (24-27% good winds). Winter months (December to March) bring higher chances of bad wind conditions (81-83%), making sessions more challenging, though they occasionally produce rideable swells around 0.8-0.9m. April and June-July are less ideal due to lower ground swell contributions and smaller wave sizes (0.7m in summer). Overall, September is the peak month for quality surf at this spot, followed by October, while mid-summer and winter require patience due to inconsistent winds and swells.
