Parlementia in France is a powerful beach break that thrives on consistent ground swell and favorable wind conditions. The best months for surfing here are from October through March, when ground swell dominates, offering the most reliable and larger waves, with mean swell sizes ranging from 1.4m to 1.9m. During this period, the ground swell percentage stays high (66% to 87%), ensuring cleaner, more organized waves. Wind conditions also improve in these months, particularly in October, November, and December, where good wind days reach up to 40%, though onshore bad winds still prevail more often than not. January and February are particularly strong, with large swells (1.9m) and decent wind windows, despite the majority of days being cross-onshore. Spring and summer (April to September) see a decline in quality, as wind swell becomes more prevalent, leading to shorter, choppier waves, and bad wind conditions dominate (70% to 82% of days). September marks the transition back into better surf, with ground swell starting to pick up again (48%), but the waves remain smaller (1.1m). If you're looking for the most powerful and consistent surf, target the winter months, especially October to February, when Parlementia is at its peak. Keep in mind that while swells are larger, winds are still often unfavorable, so timing sessions around wind shifts or early mornings is key. Summers are generally flat and blown out, with July and August offering the smallest waves (0.9m to 1.0m) and the highest percentage of poor wind conditions.
