The swell rose is dominated by SSW (58.4%), followed by SW (23.0%) and S (16.3%) - nearly all of it arriving from the optimal south-southwest window. The catch is the wind. With SSW (11.2%) and SW (6.8%) further muddying the onshore circulation, ideal offshore winds from the N-NNW quadrant account for only 17% of the time. Your best bet is the glassy dawn window before the inland heat cranks up. With the water at 19.8°C and air averaging 20.3°C under minimal rainfall (0.60 mm/day), it is a board-shorts-and-springsuit kind of surf.
