The best months for surfing here are typically from May to September, when ground swell dominates (85–90%) and the average swell size peaks around 2.8–3.0 meters. This period offers the most reliable waves, with clean, well-organized swells ideal for advanced surfers. Wind conditions, however, remain challenging year-round, with good offshore winds occurring only 15–22% of the time. The worst wind patterns are from October to April, when bad onshore winds prevail over 80% of the time, though ground swells still provide some rideable waves.
