Occasional tropical systems can inject a rare pulse of energy, but most days are best reserved for a paddle or a flat‑day session.

February mirrors January with a 1.7 m average height and 8.7 s period. Swell distribution remains similar – SSW leads at 15.4 %, followed by S (11.1 %). The optimal E‑SSE sector supplies about 22.7 % of the wave energy, often from distant lows off the U.S. East Coast. Offshore wind frequency improves slightly to 27 %, driven by a persistent NW‑NNW flow (WNW 13.9 %, NW 11.9 %, NNW 8.6 %).
