Wind ideal for surfing tops 50% from June through August and spikes to 65% in July, as moderate offshore N to NW flow keeps faces clean. Wind conditions are nearly ideal: north winds are weak—only 9.3% of the time—and the dominant winds are light SW and WSW breezes that are either offshore or barely onshore. Ideal wind ticks up to 51% of the month, with many days offering a clean overhead set in the morning before a light afternoon thermals. The rare onshore swing from SSW is almost nonexistent.
