Juno Pier

Juno Pier delivers a classic Florida beachbreak experience, anchored by a 1,100-foot pier that works with shifting sandbars to produce consistent lefts and rights. This stretch of sand-bottom surf is the most reliable in north Palm Beach County, offering a dependable option when other spots go quiet. When the swell hits head-high, the waves line up with a controlled, punchy rhythm, and a steep, fast inside section fires off when there’s enough push behind the swell. Head north toward Jupiter Inlet and you’ll find seven miles of open beachbreak with easy access, including the well-known Corners section, making the entire corridor a versatile playground for any skill level.

Best Surf Season (October - March)

Juno Pier's east-northeast exposure puts it in the crosshairs of the Atlantic storm track. From October through March, the North Atlantic releases a steady stream of extratropical cyclones and cold fronts that drive powerful NE, ENE, E and ESE swell toward the Florida coast. Average surf heights hover around 4ft (1.2m) and average wave periods reach into the 8s, with regular injections of longer-period groundswell from nor'easters. The ingredient that makes Juno truly shine is a post-frontal wind shift to the west/southwest, grooming the often-onshore easterly swell into clean, glassy lines. A negative NAO pattern can amplify this trend by shunting the storm track southward, and that is when Juno Pier is at its absolute best.
