Critically, the blustery summer south-easterlies are replaced by a much higher frequency of offshore NW and NNW winds, pushing the 'ideal wind' score above 40%. This is the window where the south-facing beach is groomed glassy and the S/SSW swells wrap perfectly into the bay.
