While average swell heights surge dramatically to 1.9–2.3m with periods around 10 seconds, the wave quality is heavily compromised. Most of the energy arrives as powerful, short-period windswell generated directly over the Arabian Sea, creating choppy, lumpy, and often unsurfable conditions. The rare window of calm occurs during brief breaks in the monsoon flow, but overall, this is a time to leave Kapu to the offshore storms and explore other coastlines.
