October, conversely, is the awakening month: the first autumn lows begin to spin up, boosting average wave heights back to 1.3m and periods to 11.3s. Ideal wind percentages jump to 41% as the thermal gradient reestablishes. These months offer a mixed bag – expect some quality days mixed with flat spells or less favorable wind, but the potential for excellent sessions remains.
