The wind pattern is mixed – E (7.6%), ESE (17.3%), and SE (16.4%) still blow, but WSW (9.2%), W (8.7%), and SW (6.4%) become more prominent. Swell averages 1.6m at 12.8s, sourced heavily from SSW (83.5%) and SW (13%). Wave heights are predominantly in the 1-2m range, providing fun, rippable waves. The increase in westerly wind days means cleaner conditions more often. Early mornings are often glassy, and the afternoon sea breezes are lighter than in the dry season.
