Over 85% of the swell comes from the N/NW/NNW quadrant, which combined with dominant onshore N/NNW winds (40-47% of the time) produces messy, weak, choppy conditions. Ideal offshore wind is scarce (8-11% of the time), and the occasional east wind event is often short-lived. Most days are small and groveling, best suited for longboards or doing something else.
