November sees the subtropical high pressure begin to regain its grip, and the wave climate at Punta de Lobos starts to shift into summer mode. The swell rose is dominated by WSW at 58 percent and SW at 35 percent, while the W-WNW-NW windows contract to under 6 percent combined. Average height slips to 5ft (1.6m), and the average period drops to 12.4s - the shortest of the year, though 12-second groundswell is still very much alive and punchy. The overall shape becomes increasingly southwestern, meaning more refracted lines wrapping into the point.

What November lacks in size and directional variety, it makes up for in wind. The offshore S-SSW-SW sector produces over 71 percent of all wind observations - the strongest offshore dominance of the year - and ideal surfing wind holds at 67 percent. NNE winds fall to a mere 1.7 percent, and the whole N-NNW quadrant is nearly silent. With air temperatures warming to 15.2°C (59°F), water at 12.7°C (55°F), and rainfall down to 0.30 mm/day, November delivers clean, playful peak waves under sunny skies.
