Best Surf Season (September - October)

The transition between the southwest and northeast monsoons delivers the most workable combo at Caridad. During these months, the southwest monsoon still sends clean offshore winds from the SW and W while the first long-period pulses of NE and ENE groundswell start to fill in from the North Pacific. Swell heights average 0.8-1.1m (2.5-3.5ft) with periods of 9-10s, and the wind is ideal 31-37% of the time -- the best of the year. You can score rippable, walled-up waves on this east-facing beach with far less chop than winter.
