The swell direction is dominated by NW (25.4%) and WNW (17.3%), while the combined SW-WSW optimal sector drops to just 15.8% – and most of those waves are under 1m. The wind ideal percentage ties June at 5%. Offshore wind from NE-ESE totals a mere 7.4%, with the vast majority of wind coming from the onshore NNW-NW direction (39.4%). The North Atlantic high locks in, delivering persistent northwesterlies that make any kind of clean surf extremely rare.
