However, wind conditions become less favorable from May onwards, with bad wind days increasing significantly—particularly from June to October, where poor winds occur 65-78% of the time. This means that while swell consistency is excellent, onshore winds can frequently disrupt wave quality. The sweet spot for balanced conditions is April, with 97% ground swell, 0.9m waves, and marginally better wind odds (51% good).
