April and May see more light wind days and the first hints of summer high pressure slides, delivering clean glassy mornings. September is a wildcard as the Atlantic begins to wake up again; early autumn lows can send renewed swell while the wind still holds in a more favourable quadrant.
Low Surf Season (June - August)
The summer doldrums settle in hard across Bude.
