The dominant swell direction is NNE (32.5%) — a poor direction for Falasarna — but the WNW (15.9%) and W (9.9%) directions bring the real quality. As the North Atlantic storm track strengthens, the percentage of waves in the 1-2m range grows to over 20%. Wind patterns shift: offshore easterlies (E through SE) drop to 6%, while NE (29.8%) remains strong, but that's a side-offshore for this west-facing spot.
