Extratropical cyclones marching east across the Atlantic send consistent WNW-to-NW groundswells straight into the exposed West-North-West-facing beach. Offshore wind potential peaks at 28-39% of the time, as high-pressure ridges often nestle over the Iberian Peninsula, funneling light easterlies or, per local lore, optimal offshore flow from SW through WNW directions. Fair Surf Season (April, May, September)
